Vintage Christmas

I love the vintage look. I layered 3 different stamps on a background created with alcohol inks. I stamped the images with different shades of brown ink and accented the tree with Snowflake Stickles.

Enjoy,

Decorating for the holidays is one of my favorite things to do. I love seeing all of the hand made ornaments from when my kids were little, playing Christmas music and baking cookies.

This project is child friendly and they make great gifts.

I want to give a shout out to the Craft Depot team. They have great selections of vinyl for all of your craft projects.

For those of you who attended the Scrapbook Expo, you know what an awesome experience it is. For those who have never gone, it is a must. Various craft vendors under one roof, free demonstrations, free projects and a great place to meet other crafters.

This year I met a wonderful lady named Faith Sauber in the Crafter Depot booth. She had a fantastic display of various vinyls. I have never worked with vinyl before, but I love to learn new things. Faith gave me a patterned piece of vinyl to work with and this is the project I created.

I mixed a little vinyl with some hand made country flowers.

Thanks for the inspiration Faith! For more projects, etc ., visit Crafter Depot

The next few cards will be Christmas related. I wanted to try a stained glass window effect with outline stickers. I placed the outline stickers on clear card stock and then colored them. I used Stickles to create the snow.

It’s never too early to get your Christmas cards ready. It will be here in a blink of an eye.

Enjoy!
