As promised, the Father’s Day double pocket card. If you didn’t see yesterday’s post, the template comes from Hot Off The Press at Paper Wishes http://www.Paperwishes.com
I wanted to make cards this year that each child could create a piece of. I thought these pockets were perfect. I created a tag for each child to decorate and write their special message to Daddy. I did stencil the backgrounds to give them a little flare 🙂 The pockets can also be used to tuck gift cards into.
FYI, the card can be folded flat to mail. The finished card measures 3.75 x 5.5″
Check back on Wednesday for the Best Dad Double Pocket Card.
This week I wanted to highlight some fun shaped cards. These double pocket cards are from Hot Off the Press via Paper Wishes (www.Paperwishes.com) They have a vast array of shaped cards(and everything else you need too) for purchase. They have great specials on different days of the week. Sign up to be on their email list so you don’t miss their amazing bundles and discounts.
For these cards, I used my original as a template and created them with double sided papers. They come as white card stock.
Since Father’s Day is around the corner, I will start with the Father’s Day cards and then the Birthday card.
Stay tuned for tomorrow’s Happy Father’s Day Double Pocket Card.
Spreading sunshine the old fashioned way!
This card puts a different twist on the pocket die cuts. I used the die as a stencil and used versamark ink to emboss the background.
I accented the card with a Flowering Dogwood Flower and diamond gems.
I hope you try this fun technique with your die cuts.
As always, share your talent and sunshine with others.
